Leviticus 14

There is a procedure that must be followed when a leper is pronounced clean, and it is detailed here. This examination and sacrifice are important parts of the process, which is why Jesus told the leper He healed to show himself to the priest!

Mark 1:42-44 (WEB) “When he had said this, immediately the leprosy departed from him and he was made clean. He strictly warned him and immediately sent him out, and said to him, ‘See that you say nothing to anybody, but go show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.’ “

With mold being recognized as such a big deal in houses today, maybe Scripture was way ahead of its time. Perhaps God knows something we don’t!

Thought for the day: While we may not understand all the laws God gave Israel, perhaps we should recognize that there were good reasons for them. We just might not have all the resources we need to figure them out!

Romans 11:33 (WEB) “Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgements, and his ways past tracing out!”
