Psalm 115:1 “Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.”

Why only one verse today? Because of its importance. We don’t deserve glory. God does. He has shown us loving kindness through Jesus Christ, and we can rely on His promises because He is trustworthy!

Exodus 34:5-7 “The LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the LORD’s name. The LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, ‘The LORD! The LORD, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth, keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin.’ “

John 15:1-5 “Jesus said these things, then lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, ‘Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do. Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed.’ “
