Acts 20:1-12

Here we have the second of four “we” passages in the book of Acts. This seems to indicate that Luke was a travel companion of Paul at times, and explains his knowledge of so many events.

Should pastors find a warning here about long sermons? 😉

Seriously though, Paul’s desire to share before his departure and the churches desire to hear should teach us something about zeal. It could also teach us something about the need to be alert and attentive when we’re learning. In the end we have a warning here for both teachers and learners!
