2 Thessalonians 1-3 (The Daily Walk Bible).

Paul is writing here to assure the Thessalonians that the ones persecuting them will finally receive judgment at the Day of the Lord (1:5-11). And yes, contrary to what some have said, the Day of the Lord is still future (2:1-2)! There are some signs that will show them when it is about to happen. They should look for a final rebellion and the revelation of the man of lawlessness (2:3-12). Until then they are to hold to the traditions they had been taught (2:15), pray (3:1), and work (3:7). Good advice for all of us as we wait for the Lord’s return!
