Ecclesiastes 1-6 (The Daily Walk Bible).

Everything is literally “vapor.” What does that mean? It could mean that everything is meaningless. Or futile. Or transitory. Or even confusing.

All of these translations have some pluses and minuses, but transitory works pretty well in most contexts. Nothing is permanent. Everything is temporary. The only thing meaningful, the only thing that lasts, the only thing that makes sense, is our relationship with God!
