2 Chronicles 33-36 (The Daily Walk Bible).
What a statement: “the Lord fulfilled Jeremiah’s prophecy” (36:22)! It’s great here, because God is fulfilling His promise to bring his people back from captivity. But sometimes God’s prophecies are dark, as in the prophecies that warned Israel about going into captivity in the first place.
God makes promises to us as well. There are the wonderful promises concerning the afterlife, but there are also promises that have to do with living in the here and now. God promises divine discipline if we don’t live for Him, but He also promises wonderful blessings if we do. May we all experience His promised blessings today!
Amen! Amen!
