2 Chronicles 17-20 (The Daily Walk Bible).
I loved the religious reform we read about here: “They took copies of the Book of the Law of the Lord and traveled through all the towns of Judah, teaching the people” (2 Chronicles 17:9). It reminded me of the old circuit riding preachers.
Was Micaiah just being sarcastic when he says, “Go right ahead! It will be a glorious victory!” (2 Chronicles 18:14)? I think that it’s interesting that he doesn’t say which side will be victorious!
Talk about a close call! “Why should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord?” (2 Chronicles 19:2). Is there a warning there for us as well? 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”
