I don’t know what’s going on in your life right now.  Are you having problems relating to your kids?  How about your parents?  Do you think that one of your siblings is the favorite?  Are you treating your own grandchildren differently?  Are your ready to pull what’s remaining of your hair out?  Would you be surprised to know that someone’s family situation in Scripture may be even more messed up than yours!  Jacob, with all of his faults and foibles, reminds us that God is at work in the mess, and we’ll be looking at his life over the next few weeks.
