I’m working through a trilogy of books by Graeme Goldsworthy.  The first is “Gospel and Kingdom” and deals with theology in the Old Testament.  Goldsworthy believes that the kingdom of God is a key to understanding theology.  He sees the kingdom pattern established in the Garden of Eden, with God’s people (Adam & Eve), in God’s place (Garden), under God’s rule.  Unfortunately, the fall interrupted the kindgom, but the kingdom continues to be promised (Abraham), foreshadowed (David & Solomon), revealed (Jesus Christ), and one day will be consumated (return of Christ).  So far it’s enjoyable reading.  I have one or two questions which I’ll save for later.  It may be that futher reading will clear them up!
